Middle East Dialogue 2014: Strategies for Change

***FREE FOR DCCA MEMBERS****

Thursday February 27th
Historic Whittemore House, Dupont Circle
1526 New Hampshire Avenue, Washington DC

This Middle East Dialogue is for policy makers, scholars, business and social leaders, to discuss current issues. Its purpose is to promote multidisciplinary conversation about topics that include, but are not limited to education initiatives, social, economic and political reforms, nuclear proliferation, interfaith dialogue, women's gains and challenges, peace initiatives, and potential areas of conflict. We welcome a spectrum of political and religious persuasions to discuss issues in a spirit of tolerance and free discourse.

The Forum is co-chaired by Prof. Mohammed M. Aman of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Editor-in-Chief of Digest of Middle East Studies (DOMES), and Prof. Paul Rich, President of the Policy Studies Organization. It is sponsored by the Policy Studies Organization, American Public University System, DOMES, the Next Century Foundation, and the Capital Communications Group. Other sponsors are invited and will be added.

For questions please contact PSO Executive Director Daniel Gutierrez at dgutierrezs@ipsonet.org, or call 202-483-9282.

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.  DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings nine times each year, which are open to the public, organizes the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
